Welcome to ddmeier.com. I hope everyone will enjoy reading my stories as much as I’ve enjoyed writing them. When I start telling a story through my writing or if you meet me in person, you’ll find I have a flair for the dramatic. I’ve found my stories speak to people with diversified interests, and I hope you have a chance to read them. The first of these stories is based on a true story that happened when I was a young person, just embarking on adulthood. After writing that book, I found I had many more stories inside me, just waiting to come out. I love developing characters that fit the moment. Enjoy, and as always, read on!

Introduction
As a recently retired person, I have realized a true love of writing. I admired my mentor, and now I’m following in the footsteps of that mentor, my mother, Dawn Meier, who has written many books over the years. I grew up in Oregon, and other than 11 years living and working in Southern California, I’ve lived here most of my life. I currently live in the beautiful Santiam Canyon in Oregon with my three dogs and views that would make your heart sing. I enjoy the outdoors, shooting a little pool, playing poker and occasionally traveling.
